Getting started

So, a few days before we go and still one or two minor details to sort, I'm trying to set up a blog to record and share our tremendous exploits. Items to pack have moved from upstairs to downstairs, and I re-soaked the mosquito nets in insectiside, so that's progress at least. Now we need to work out why the travel nurse thinks I have an appointment in Aberdeen on Monday... Still, it would be sort of fun to be able to communicate with the world whilst in the field, so let's see if this works.
