So, we've been back in the UK for over half a year. It seems incredible to me that we've been gone from Tanzania that long already, and not seen so many friends for that long. We're currently compiling a big photo montage of friends from Tanzania to hang on the wall, and may then get round to putting together the photo book of our time there...
Long radio silence here partly due to 3 of us being nastily unwell over Christmas (and finally almost completely better now) and the subsequent failure to take many Christmas photos. However, all is good. Kids back at school. Kitty has joined a dance class in addition to brownies. Both are less than ten mins walk from the house - luxury! The Mancub engages us in frequent games of carcasonne and plays angry birds on my iPad as often as he's allowed.
I am still applying for part time jobs sporadically, when something half decent turns up that I have a chance at, and investigating volunteer opportunities with various charities. And Mr B is looking forward to a field course he'll be running in Mallorca in may. Meanwhile, we are apparently expecting several cm of snow in the next 24 hours or so. Brrrr.

Hello. It is amazing that you have been back for just over 6 months now because it means that we have been living here for all that time now.
ReplyDeleteSorry that your family were not well over Christmas.
